Hope I Will

To make people think right,
Is what am going to do.
Though some may not agree,
I know I shall surely succeed.
And I will to make that change.
Which is thought impossible,

I know am one that won't wait.
While the bell is still ringing.
But I will rather stand firm.
To make the world know.
That the children must be told
What the past and future holds.

I am sorry they won't say it.
Even when they know we are dying
Now hopes are getting rotted.
And memories fading with time.
All I want is to inform the children
What is to be done as at now.

Yes! I will to raise high the banner.
The one with African advance.
Peace, love and harmony,
What I wish to prevail.
I know I will as I hope in it.
Where there's a way, there's also a will.

I have nothing but my mother's love.
And so, I will listen to her words.
For I know, then, I will stand still.
Appearing upon the climbing hills.
Where there is no problem.
But peace love and freedom.

Across the river on the other side,
There I will see what I left beside.
But there will be no way to return.
As all memories can never be turned.
What we have lost, is gone.
It's gone and can never be recovered.
Yet still! I hope I will.....
To change the world.
