Pirate Days

We were taking from our homes
And chained to each other
Being taking to the headquarters
So as to be sent away
To we don't know
Oh! Where is our freedom?
That in this slave ship
We have to suffer and die
We are now pirate souls
Taking away from home
There seemed nothing left to do
As the chains around our feet
And then around our necks
Travelling across till we reach the shores
Where we being taking to America
To Europe and then Asia
To work on the plantations
Yet we got no pay
It grieves my heart and soul too much
When I recalled those days
Called the Pirate Days
When our fore-fathers were taking away
We hope not to see
Such days come by again in life
So when you hear this words
Tell your brother and sister next to you
We are free from human slavery
But still captured in mental slavery
We hope to soon
Get out liberty
To think and do things our own way
Because longtime ago
The pirate days were lost in the rime
