Rest In Peace
Death has made me lifeless in mood.
It has broken my memorial mind.
That I always want to be kind.
Death made me a captive.
And so, am weak and never active.
To the world at the other end,
Comes the call of the legend.
Where sister leaves mother.
And or brother leaves father.
Because all prophecies must be fulfilled.
Just as they were revealed.
Simon! May your soul rest in peace.
Though you departed in pieces.
May your journey home be free.
And good you were laid under the tree.
Where you will find but rest.
Though your death wasn't the best.
I remembered our old past.
Which was framed like the cast.
Memories full of hope.
Having but less to dope.
You have fixed my world apart.
Since you opted but to depart.
I remembered our ammunition.
Being the healing of the nation.
Which we kept hold of tight.
Though the government say it's not right.
Now that we are worlds apart,
Could it be that again, we shall part?
You left me without a word.
But I won't use the sword.
Now am going through tribulations.
Just to fight down humiliations.
You suffered and died in your struggle.
Though you have nothing to smuggle.
Rest in peace AYANA as you are known.
May you find a destiny.
And don't forget us who you left behind.
Because you are always on our mind.
Now that you may know what is right,
Just tell me the green herb is good or not.
Through the gates of Zion,
There you may trod like a lion.
That day we shall meet
And wine rabadurb on the beat.
It is very memorial our hard times.
When we've got to struggle for a dime.
I am very perplexed,
That I can't even be relaxed.
I started to have brain crushes.
Because I have too many rushes.
Where are you my terrific friend?
Do you know you made me without friend?
I have come to believe the parable.
That death is incurable.
And so you are gone.
Meanwhile, you are yet to born.
Your soul rest in perfect peace.
Though you left in pieces.
Simon known as Ayana.
Who I calls Black American.
Jah give your head a place in Zion.
Where you'll go from the tomb.
